Batman To Represent Midwest Region

Jack Batman, goalkeeper for the Kentucky State Cup champion Bluegrass Soccer Club '97 White team and Woodford County High School, has been selected to represent the Midwest Region in the U.S. Youth Soccer Boys Interregional Showcase to be held at the IMG facilities in Bradenton, Florida from December 13-16, 2012. Jack is one of two goalkeepers selected to the 18-member regional squad, which is represented by players from the 13 states in the Midwest region. Jack will compete against the teams from the Eastern, Western and Southern regions and will also participate in training with the U.S. Soccer U17 National Team. U.S. Soccer National Staff coaches will be on site to evaluate players for possible selection to a National Team training camp.
