Welcome to the Home of Bluegrass Soccer Club!

Bluegrass Soccer Club was formed in 2001 as a division of Woodford Youth Soccer. We have grown over the past 7 years to now field 22 teams. Our teams participate in both the Kentucky Select Soccer League and the Midwest Regional League.

Academy Spring 2010

Bluegrass Soccer Club is happy to announce that it is going to continue with it's Academy Program from the Fall with a few key changes:

There will be no fee for participants, except for equipment and uniforms.
We will participate in two KYSA Academy play dates as well as at least two alliance play dates.
Training dates will no longer occur on Fridays unless otherwise mentioned. They will occur on Thursdays at the same time as the Recreational team practices and with the help of the Recreational Team Coaches. We plan to have five training dates, spread out throughout the season, preferably the week before every play date.
Players that can't make it to their local association's training dates will be allowed to train with any of the other alliance members as long a s proper notice is provided.

Winter 2010 Training Info

Winter Training Dates and Times have been posted on the Practices and Training page.

On behalf of the Woodford Youth Soccer Association and Bluegrass Soccer Club we would like to extend to you and your club an invitation to participate in the Thirteenth Annual Kick in the Bluegrass Soccer Tournament this Spring in Versailles, KY on March 19-21, 2010. Last years tournament brought in some 125 teams from 7 states and we anticipate this year's event to be even stronger.

Versailles is located just 10 minutes west of Lexington, KY. Central Kentucky is know as the horse capitol of world for it's world famous horse farms, beautiful rolling bluegrass fields, and champion horses.

This tournament is designed to help teams "Kick-Off" their spring season.Teams from Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, Michigan, and other states typically participate in our tournament.

We look forward to hosting your team for a great weekend of soccer.
