Bluegrass 96 Girls Crowned Kentucky State Champions
The 96 Girls became the first Bluegrass SC team to advance to the Region 2 Championships. The squad defeated Javanon 2-0 in the the Kentucky State Open Cup in a hard fought contest. The team defeated LFC Premier 4-1 in the Semi-Finals on Saturday to advance to the championship game. The team now heads to Sioux Falls, SD to represent Kentucky in the U13 Girls Division.

Winter Training begins January 10
Winter Training will begin January 10 for the team. Training sessions will be held at Southside Elementary School in Versailles every Saturday at 9:00am. The one training session will focus on individual skill development. Sessions will be conducted by Anthony Chandler, BSC Technical Director, or by Evan Sutherland, BSC Director of Coaching.

BSC 96 Girls conclude Fall Season at Veteran's Invitational
The 96 Girls team concluded their fall season with a 1-1-1 showing at the Veteran's Invitational. Playing the the Premiership Division, the girl's lost their opening match against Campton United Navy 2-1 on a goal with under 30 seconds in regulation. They then turned around and starting their second match within 60 minutes of finishing their first. They faced a fresh Mid-Rivers AC Azurri team from St. Charles, MO and settled for a 1-1 draw. Sunday morning the squad faced off with the Lady Warriors on a cold and blustering morning with an end result of 3-0 in favor of BSC. Great season overall finishing with a 14-2-5 record.
