Bluegrass Preparing for Buckeye Weekend

The 96 Bluegrass White Team are preparing for a very important weekend clash with Ohio South Champions Cup Crew Gold Jrs. of Cincinnati and Ohio South Finalist Team Ohio Valencia out of Columbus. Bluegrass came out of the opening weekend with 3 points out of two matches. They defeated Team Dayton in a phenomenal 2-1 come from behind victory. Malik Robinson scored the game tying goal with about 8 minutes to play and Cody Burke found the game winner with just 60 seconds remaining. The win was tremendous for the team. Bluegrass is currently sitting 3rd in the table and has a chance to take the points lead going into this weekend!

Bluegrass 96 Boys Gain Acceptance to Buckeye Premier League Elite Division

The Bluegrass White 96 Boys have just been accepted into the Buckeye Premier League. This move is going to put the team into one of the top leagues in Region 2 for the spring. They will be playing teams such as Cup Crew Jrs. Gold, Eagles SC, Team Ohio Valencia, and Classics FC. The team will be traveling to Cincinnati and Dayton for all league matches and will have the opportunity to play at premier league facilities. The team earned this opportunity after going 14-1-1 in the fall and will look to improve each and every week this spring by playing some of the best competition in the region.

Bluegrass 96 Boys Win Kentucky Premier League Title

The 96 Bluegrass Boys won the KSSL Premier League title on Saturday, Nov. 2 with a 2-0 victory over LSA Central. The team finished the league with an 8-0-1 record and defeated Kentucky state champion LFC Premier 3-2 as well as Kentucky state finalist United International of Louisville 3-1. The draw came in a thrilling match with Javanon and ended 0-0. The 96's finished the league with a 30-5 goal differential. Congratulations to the 96 Bluegrass White!
