Germantown Invitational Tournament publishes divisions
GIT published their divisions today. The Bluegrass 92 White squad will face what might be their strongest showcase schedule to date. Opponents for this year's showcase include the Atlanta Fire United 92 Gold, Evererst SC U19, and Eastern Iowa United U18 Blue. All three teams are ranked in the Top 35 nationally. This is the fifth year the team has attended the GIT.

Field Announced for Blast FC College Showcase
Teams were announced for the 2010 Blast FC College Showcase in Columbus, OH November 28-29. Bluegrass 92 White will start things off with fellow Kentucky foe Kings Soccer Academy at 7:45am on Saturday. That afternoon they will meet Brampton Blast from Ontario, Canada at 1:30pm. Sunday's match at noon will see the squad square-off against hometown squad Columbus FC Black.

Bluegrass 92 White wins MRL 1st Division Championship
The Bluegrass 92 White team secured the MRL U17 First Division East White title today with a 3-1 victory over Mockingbird White. The championship guarantees the squad a place in the Premier Division of MRL for the Spring 2010 Season. The squad compiled a 5-1-1 mark in league play with a tie-breaker deciding the championship with Michigan Wolves. Bluegrass defeated the Wolves 4-1 back on April 25th with head-to-head being the first tie-breaker. Congrats to the team on becoming the first squad from the club to qualify for the Premier Division.

Team Settles for Finalist at Kick in the Bluegrass
92 White tooked the finalist postion in the 2009 Kick in the Bluegrass. The squad played up in the U18 Division and had to settle for the finalist after dropping a tie-breaker shootout 5-4 to Charleston FC. Fusion 91 Orange was first up for the team on Saturday and things started very positively. By the end of the match 92 White had a decisive 3-0 victory. Three time dending West Virginia State Champions Charleston FC Elite were up next. The squad quickly went up 1-0 off of a corner kick in the 5th minute. The 2nd half saw the lead built to 2-0 before Charleston FC scored a brace in the last twenty minutes off of long throw-ins in the box. On Sunday the team faced Cutter's 91 Red from Indiana. In shear dominating fashion the team cruised to a 7-0 victory. That point the team in a dead heat in all categories for the tournament title with the tiebreaker being a shootout from their opponent on Saturday, Charleston FC Elite. CFC put all 5 attempts into the net while Bluegrass converted on 4 of 5.

92 White takes 3rd Straight Showcase at Ohio Elite
The Bluegrass 92 White team finished their Winter Showcase season with another undefeated showing. In some brutally cold weather the team defeated the Worthington Crew Juniors 2-1 on Friday evening. The team went up early on a 20 yard strike from Nick McGregor in the first 10 minutes of the match. In the second half Worthington was awarded a penalty kick to even the match. Nick McGregor struck again with 15 minutes left to seal the victory. On Saturday the squad faced off against familiar foe FC Evansville. Though controlling most of the match the team had to settle for a 0-0 draw. Sunday morning with a kick-off temperature of 18 degrees, the squad struck quickly scored at the 4 minute mark with a follow-up strike from Carson Reynolds. In the second half, goals from Jack Little and Hunter Hamilton put the team up 3-0 before they gave up a goal to the Illinois Galaxies for a 3-1 final.
